Loving Singapore

I’m lucky to know the beauty of this place unknown to me ’til this day. Well, I guess I did the right decision when I chose Singapore over Korea (and US).

I had a nice (quiet) life back in my hometown, but there will come a time you will be needing to explore more. I was the most boring guy in the world. I have big eyes but I didn’t see the small things I would appreciate soon.

My first impression with the people here was not so nice, ’til I discovered that there are super-nice Singaporeans out there I never knew. It’s nice to know friends who would show you places you’ve never been to.

I’m fortunate, I really am.

J. Lo : The wonder dog

-

Ako’y may alaga, asong mataba… (And the line goes).

-

Tonight, I saw this pet of my officemate, a cute little doggy! But this dog was something different, she welcomed me with a bark (hahaha)! So I was telling myself "Go bite me, and you’ll go straight to the oven!".

-

Well, maybe I just missed my dog. Her name is J.Lo. Sounds like a New Yorker huh?! And she’s black (some more)!

-

My mom describes her as "the most loving dog ever".

-

She wakes up early in the morning when chickens perform their kokorokok. She would just stare at your face ’til one of your eyes is open. Then she would kiss you like hell, she wants lips-to-lips (some more)!

-

She likes to go to bed being massaged on an airconditioned room (she’s not a cheapo-cheapo dog you know!). And she likes to do "brush-your-teeth" when having a bath.

-

But dont scare her, cos she might have a heart-attack (hahaha)!

-

One time, there’s this cat who was meowing on our terrace, of course her blood pressure got 170 over 80. She was listening attentively (to confirm if it’s really a cat) while sitting on the floor (stomach-in, chest-out). She turned the knob of the door and went face-to-face with the cat. "Woof! Woof!", she said. "Krzzzzz!", the cat replied (with matching claw on J.Lo’s face). Her eyes were obviously shocked, or should I say terrorised by the evil cat. She stood up, and was trying to make face, as she cant accept defeat. So she continued barking, but everytime the cat looks at her she pretends to be barking on the plant (hahaha).

-

She might be a nervous dog, but she has a good breeding. She has been trained to sit whenever she wants to ask for something. She knows how to open the door, to call someone by waving her hand, to poof only in the terrace, and to pretend like a baby (see her pictures)!

-

Now imagine how it’s like to have a dog like J.Lo.
