Nope, it’s not a coincidence. It’s at the center of the globe.

Ancient Chinese call it "The Land with Thousand Islands", and the Spanish named it "The Philippines" after their king. Such a nice country name.

It might have also been mentioned in the Bible as the group of islands in the Far East where new Christianity will be born. It is indeed a blessed country!

It is where you will find the best fruits on earth. Mangoes, bananas, pineapples, strawberries and the likes.

Because of it’s perfect setting and geographical location, it has also got the best beaches.

Historically, it is the first republic in Asia. It’s got Asia’s first airline, coliseum, and convention centre. It is also the most important US ally in Asia.

Races here are unlimited in number. That’s why we prefer to be called ‘Filipino’ instead of our actual race.

Most of all, it is my country of birth. It’s the Philippines!
